Dear Co-fighters for PEACE AND DISARMAMENT, keep dreaming like Luther King!
We are involved in several peace and disarmament activities from September 1st, 2025.
In particular: LESVOS PEACE FESTIVAL, 2-7 SEPTEMBER 2025, on a Greek island renowned for its peace and solidarity tradition. “Local government diplomacy” and its contribution to peace is a highlight, involving elected local government officials from Greece and Turkey; bold action!
The 80th years since the HIROSHIMA-NAGASAKI HOLOCAUSTS will also be marked.
Second major action of PADOP devoted to UN INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY (21st September), will be held the next day, i.e. on MONDAY 22 SEPTEMBER 2025 at the cultural premises of the Athens Municipality, focused on awarding this years’ “NIKOS NIKIFORIDIS” PEACE AND DISARMAMENT PRIZE.
